The Whole Brain Model
The Whole-Brain model believes in the philosophy that the Teaching should encompass different alternatives: delivery options /mechanisms may it be material, media, or method. NEP 2020 asks for competency-based and outcome-based learning and hence the teachers need to be trained for the integration of subjects and it is possible by integrating 4 quadrants of the brain through this model. This course is created with a focus on sustainable learning at the Elementary level with a base that 80%of brain development occurs below six years and if all the regions of the brain are activated among kids at an early stage it would help them perform well in academics both in school as well as higher education.

What is teaching?
Teaching pedagogies impact the learning outcome. Various forms of teaching styles are adopted in the classroom. The tip is to identify the topic learning outcomes as a priority. Then see a time available to complete the lesson and understand the learning ability of students. The activity designed keeping the above parameters in mind was enough to start the plan but now we need to also observe the technology we will be using to connect with students. The tools used to teach should be easy to use. Should be easily available. Must be cost-effective. Now having all this should not develop an over-enthusiastic approach. Multiple technical apps used during one class may confuse students, dilute the thinking time, lead to incomplete activity. Taking a baby step to teach using one tool at a time and allowing students to think and able to participate in the nest pedagogy. During the course my focus was to explain the types of pedagogy and why we can not afford to be just a content delivery tool but a concept-sharing mentor.
